What evidence is needed?
For animal population control, provide evidence of your principal occupation or qualifying government-agency role and the work requiring the firearm. For collecting, provide the approved-society and collection evidence.
Collecting has different conditions
Category D collection firearms must be permanently incapable of firing. Collection authority is not permission to use an operational Category D firearm for hunting or target shooting.
